(0)The first day of spring is less than a month away. Hopefully the groundhog was right and spring will come early this year. With the advent of the new growing season, things here at Timbercreek Farm are gearing up. On Wednesday our first piglets of 2011 arrived. They have settled in well. Chicks will start arriving in late March and we are hurrying to get their accommodations ready. Because our eggs have been selling so well at Whole Foods we are doubling the laying flock for 2011. Also new this year, we are going to have a stand at the Charlottesville Farmer’s Market.
As always, we love seeing you here at the farm so break your winter hibernation by coming out for a visit!
