Piglets!

Zach and I are officially the proud owners of 8 piglets. We made the journey up to the Winchester Livestock Exchange last night. It was an experience that neither one of us will ever forget. Neither Zach nor I had ever handled pigs before 5:00 PM last night. By 5:35PM we owned 8. Now what??
Well, we weren’t sure either. But, we came prepared. These pigs were coming home in style: my horse trailer! Zach and I certainly didn’t look like old-timers as we loaded our 8 piglets into their limousine. I am sure the folks at the Winchester Livestock Exchange found us extremely amusing.
The 12 of us (our dogs Porter and Lola went too) arrived back at Timbercreek Farm around 9 PM and we unloaded the piglets into their stall. They all settled in well and enjoyed their first meal at their new digs.
